A small agency on purpose.
I founded CEAL in February 2014 after eleven years working full time in customs brokerage. I keep it small so I can get into each client's operation as if it were my own department. Few clients, direct contact, and someone answering who actually cleared your goods.

Omar Gonzalez Fregoso.
Degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, Master in Customs and Foreign Trade Law, and a specialist diploma in tariff classification. I started full time in a customs brokerage in 2003, while studying the degree, and I have not left the port since.
What my clients value is not a low fee. It is that I answer, that I tell them the full cost before they buy, and that when something comes in wrong I already know because I inspected it in Otay before filing. I like working with owners and purchasing managers who want a partner, not a counter.
I work in Spanish and English, with importers across Mexico and with suppliers in the US, Asia and Europe whose customers are here.
The file, in numbers.
- 2003first year working full time in customs
- 2014CEAL founded, February
- 9Mexican ports of entry where I clear
- 2importer registries: general and textile
Three things I do not negotiate.
I check the goods physically before filing.
Counting and matching against the invoice in Otay is what catches the short shipment or the wrong label before it becomes a fine or a hold.
You know what you will pay before buying.
Duties by tariff code, VAT, fees, freight and handling, in writing. If the numbers do not work, better to know before the supplier is paid.
You deal with me, not a ticket.
WhatsApp, phone or a scheduled call. When I take an operation, it is my operation until the goods are in your warehouse.
Want to work with someone who inspects before filing?
Tell me what you import and from where. I answer today.
